Furniture Assembler
Location: Morley, LS27
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Salary: £14.00 - £15.50
Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality furniture,are currently seeking Furniture Assemblers to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in furniture assembly or working in a production environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assemble furniture units according to specifications
Use a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Follow assembly instructions to ensure precise assembly
Inspect parts and finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
Report any deviations or issues in the assembly process to team leaders
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times
Work independently and alongside team members to meet daily production targets
Follow all site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in furniture assembly is highly desirable
Ability to read and interpret engineering or technical drawings
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and related assembly equipment
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
Working Environment:
Busy, hands-on manufacturing setting
Exposure to noise, dust, and standard factory conditions
